I am a journalist, long-form writer, and editor based in Toronto.
My journalism career began in 2020, when I enrolled in the Bachelor of Journalism program at the University of King’s College. Since graduating from that program in 2021, I have published news stories, essays, investigations, and opinion pieces in publications such as the Globe and Mail, National Observer, and The Local.
Aside from freelancing, I have also held editorial positions at The Breach and The West End Phoenix, and spent a year as an investigative journalist at the Humber College StoryLab where I worked on a collaborative investigation called Surviving Hate and published a series of stories on anti-Indigenous medical discrimination. Most recently, I worked as a Solutions Journalist at TVO, Ontario’s provincial broadcaster.
I have been grateful to have my work recognized at the National Magazine Awards, the Digital Publishing Awards, to be a finalist for a CJF Jackman Award for Excellence in Journalism, and to have my writing anthologized in the Best Canadian Essays 2023 and the Big Book of Spacing.
